Where should I place the star illuminator?.. |
|
| The closer you can place the illuminator to the actual ceiling, the less fiber you will require. Most of our customers have found that an optimal location is above the ceiling. (In the case of an installation in a suspended ceiling). Our illuminators may be mounted both horizontally or vertically on the joists. Keep in mind that you will need to have an electrical outlet, and it should be a switched outlet. (To a wall switch) You'll also need to meet the minimum distance requirements of the illuminator. If above the ceiling location does not work for your application, consider adding a small shelf or placing the unit inside a closet and running the fibers through the wall. | |
