A starry night out on the dock

Believe it or not, this scene exists in the lower level of a 7,000 square foot home.

The boat 'floats' below a starry sky which was created with hundreds of strands of fiber optic filament.

The filament used in this illusion is the .25mm fiber contained in the 64 strand cable, which is threaded into the two dozen drop ceiling panels.

"The Dock" is the entrance area to the home theater.

The star ceiling that was created in "The Dock" utilized the installation techniques and tips taught here at The Fiber Optic Store, com.
In the photos below we 'turn on the work lights' and go 'offstage' to help you see how the illusion is created.
